As a bondsman, prior to bonding someone out of jail, I weigh the risks that the person will go to court. There are several factors which go into this. One of the factors is the crime the person is charged with.

If it’s a serious crime, it’s a higher risk. If jail time is likely, that’s a motivating factor to skip court. Conversely, if it’s a minor charge, little or no jail time is likely. It’s only reasonable that the person would go to court to get it over with.

Randy Yates skip court and went on the run for silly misdemeanor charges. This is one of my stupid fugitive case.

I have no empathy for the terminally stupid. Do I go to court and if found guilty, have to pay a fine and maybe at the worst, spend a couple of days in jail? Or should I go on the run and add to my pathetic non-criminal record?

I have no problem putting this non-criminal back in jail just for being an idiot.
