Chesterfield County Jails
There are two jails which house Chesterfield County inmates. The Chesterfield County Jail is the main jail for Chesterfield. It’s located on Mimms Drive near the Chesterfield Courts buildings. The other jail is Riverside Regional Jail, which is in Hopewell. Riverside Regional houses inmates from seven counties, which are Charles City, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, Prince George, and Surry. As of this writing, over 50% of the inmates residing there are from Chesterfield, with the other six counties splitting the remaining.
Aarrow serves both the Chesterfield and Riverside jails.

Questions About a Warrant
I sometimes get calls asking if there’s an outstanding warrant served on them. For most jurisdictions, that information is only given to the person in question, and it’s not given over the phone. The only way to find out is to go to the jail and inquire about it in person. However, Chesterfield is different in this aspect. It posts a list of outstanding warrants on the Chesterfield website. To view Chesterfield County’s current active warrants, go to the Chesterfield’s Sheriff’s Office page. On the left side of the page there’s a link to “Active Warrents”. Clicking on that link will cause a display list of active warrants on your screen.
Hope this helps.
